Drilling up North

Hey, I'm wondering if anyone could possibly give me a contractor list for companies drilling in the Marcellus Shale, Canada, or anything International that would take United States Drillers. I know of Nomac, and I just got fired from Cactus. F-ing politics. People will cover their asses in these times won't they? Anyways, I know that Cactus is bringing at least two rigs to PA. They spent 750k-1mil. to weatherize two new rocket rigs for pad work up there. If anyone knows anything about other "contractors", let me know. I know XTO, Ridge, & Chesapeake all have leases up there. Operator information isn't really helping in a rig search. If you know some information, feel free to e-mail me instead of posting if you'd rather.
Forum: United States & Canada Drilling

Introduction

I stubled upon this site while searching for a good webpage about oilfields for my husband to enjoy. Thought I might drop in, introduce us, and show some support for all of those hard-working men out there on the rigs.

My husband's name is Andrew and we've been married for 8 years now. He started working in the oilfields in 2004 with Ensign Drilling, though when he started they were still Caza. After being laid off from Ensign he went to work for Kenai Drilling, and is still there. Because we live in California and the economy sucks, there was a time span from January until a month ago in which he didn't work.

He is seriously considering this a carreer, instead of finishing his degree in welding (though it would help reguardless) or going into the medical field. He enjoys what he does, doesn't mind the extreme weather conditions year-round, and is darn good at what he does. So, I'm here to show my support for his decision and hope he can find a few topics to chat about here.

Any other wives out there, hit me up!
Forum: Off Topic Oilfield Posts
